The four horses in the metarasa.biz logo are from the film Ben Hur, shown turning around the “meta rasa” during the chariot race.

The term meta rasa means “scraped cone”.  In the Roman circus, there are cones at each end of the spina (the spine that runs down the middle of the arena).  As the chariots race around the cone, they often scrape it as they try to turn successfully or gain an advantage.

The meta rasa marks a point in the race where there can be success or disaster, depending on how well the turning point is navigated.
